Every year a festival is organized at Pelling in the Christmas eve. The festival starts from 25th december and ends on 27th/28th december of every year. This is one of the biggest festival of Sikkim, where people from all over the Sikkim, comes and enjoy the festival. Even several people from neighbouring country bhutan also comes to join this great festival.

 Several local bands of Sikkim are seen performing everyday in the festival and even bands from Siliguri also come here to participate. generally the festival takes place at the former helipad ground of Pelling which is the central area of Pelling. There can be seen several stalls of clothes, Sikkimese and bhutia dishes, handicrafts and many more stalls at the festival. Overall, the presence of lot of tourists & local people, dancing of many youngstars, performance of rock bands make this festival colourfull.
